It's been a while since I've updated my bio, and so much has changed that I had to delete it completely.

So yeah, uhm... hi! ^_^ In case you can't read those fiery letters at the top of the page, my name is Jessiqa Greenblatt. Yes, that's Jessiqa, and no, you're not misreading it. I've always had a thing for the letter Q. Kinda like I've always had a thing for fantasy and faerie tales and the like. I'm a cocky collegiate, and a cliche contradiction if captured candidly (commonly calmly-clad and craving candy).

One of my biggest interests right now is anime/manga, as you can probably notice from the influence in my art. My favourite series are 'Fushigi Yuugi' (Mysterious Play) and 'Ima Soko Ni Iru Boku' (Now and Then, Here and There), but I'm also a big Miyazaki fan. I grew up on Tolkien's 'The Hobbit' (naturally my fave book in the world), but dare not attempt any renditions on his characters for fear of upsetting fellow hardcore fans.

My art consists mostly of characters I've devised and developed over the years. The majority of my sketches aren't the happiest things in the world, but that's because I find a certain profundity and intrigue in sadness. However, due to circumstances, I'm contemplating giving up on my art and everything. So here's my gallery: enjoy it while it lasts!

Hey! No one has commented on this for a long while! But i wanted to tell you how much your art means to me- and that it is lovely and beautiful- and has inspired me on many occasions! Never give up! Never! Take a break maybe if you need to stray- but never, ever give up! You are too amazing an artist for that! Your pictures pack so much emotion, the faces express so much- i love it!

Dude, stopping drawing would be a CRIME. I only wish I could draw half as well as you! Your characters show a lot of emotion, tho I did notice you draw a lot of the same thing. Heh, tho if I was that good at one thing, I'd stick with it too!

Hi Jesiqua, it's been a while, I just want to say Thank you for not giving up on the artwork thing, you are still , and always have been, my inspiration to draw and keep my self sane, You'll always be in my heart and mind. And I'll never forget that which you never knew you taught me.

you are so talented- "Backwards Glance" proves that. Why would you waste your self on anime?

I really love your art!You are able to express your emotions through your art.I try to do that.I hope that you do not give up art.I can tell that you've been sad lately(i can tell through your art).I hope you keep drawing.I know that i'm a stranger to you but i hope that you can try to get past whatever's going on.I haven't seen anyone with this much emotion through their art, and true emotion at that.Continue to draw, many people love it, i sometimes will find that expressing my emotions through art helps me get those emotions out easier and it also helps you to take on the situation or whatever is bothering you and deal with it easier and/or fix it.Some people don't realize that your art most of the time relates to how you are feeling, at times it seems like no one cares.(ever want to talk you know what to do, email me i hope,if you want)

Ever since sitting upon the Oasis in Nagoya, sharing tales and pictures, I've always thought highly of your talents... and I've only seen improvement. Loved the manga you were working on too!
