SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sunrise

Kayla, again, simply staring at something. Probably the sunrise. <<nodnod>> If she keeps that up she'll be blind soon.
Anyways, I'm pleased with this because it's my first step towards my current style (I've gotta delete some of the stuff here <<shudder>>) for digital colouring (and drawing I suppose) as well, it got me out of my colouring block. Yes, colouring block. I could still draw, that worked fine! But I was getting way to frustrated with digital colouring and simply couldn't do it (I was trying to 'mature' my colouring style and was getting in a funk because I was having some major problems) then suddenly *pop* and it worked again, and this picture deserves the credit for it.

30 Oct 2004	Claire	Loading... This is very pretty. I like the color and concept and the hair is beautiful. There are areas that you could improve in, if you don't mind pointers that is! The facial structure, and the way it goes into the neck look a little awkward as well as some other aspects. But the piece is still nice and I'm sure if you work hard you'll definatly improve. I'm probably just picky because I'm an artist!
