Hi, Welcome to the woods. You have a beautiful start to your gallery here. My fave pic is 'wish' the style and colour is beautiful. You should do more like that. You are also very talented with your pencil work and shading... something I can't do to well... or choose not too anyway ^__~ Any way, keep up the amazing work I look forward to seeing more ^__^you're stuff is cute anyway, but shading just takes practice. thanks for commenting.

Great artwork....come to think of it, I notice that a majority of the members of TYWC draw well as well. I also do drawing from time, to time, but nothing matches up to 'wish'... i do everything in pencil, and my pictures tend to have a japanese cast (weird).

1.the background??well depents on the subject of your work...if it's a devil (for example) use dark colors (also depents on what kind of devil) so you can use black-red
but also combinations like black-green black-skyblue,so the devil looks like he's toxic or something
for things like fairies and elfs... use soft colors. most of the time fairies are drawn in woods, try some combinations in green- soft yellow- skyblue and orange. a bit brown would finish the drawing in my opinion
try not to use random colors,but create new combinations, people will love that, i guess
