SciFi and Fantasy Art: Aoibheann

Aoibheann is the first piece of fantasy art that I ever created. Aoibheann is a tiny faerie who is playing amongst the flowers with her magical glowing ball. The pose was inspired from a photograph. The figure was painted within Photoshop and then placed on top of one of my digital photographs. I'm quite pleased with her since she is my first effort. However, I realize that her left arm is a little off and I'm still attempting to fix it. Created May 7, 2000

I was just looking up my name on the web when I found your page. I am very flattered that you have given a beautiful piece of art the same name! May I ask where you heard the name?

''nach aoibheann an la e'' here means ''isn't it a beautiful day'' as gaelige as far as I know. If you know any other translations for it I would love to know.
