SciFi and Fantasy Art: Onos t'oolan

Onos T'oolan, first sword of the T'lan Imass empire, stares at the rent on the obsidian plains of Morn. Inspired by Steven Erikson's book, the malazan tales of the fallen

this is very cool.

The armour is beautiful, the sky is beautiful. One of my favorite details is the flesh you can see peaking out below his pauldrons, his upper and forearm area, very cool.

Nice work.

Waaahh.....I love the malazan books of the fallen series!! They are so wonderful. Tool is a very unique character and i love your rendition of him. Have you read all of the books yet?

Malazan series, freakin incredible. I'm only up to book #4 and I can't wait to get started on it. Great job on 'Tool', though...shouldn't he be more skeletal, facial that is.

1 Jean-francois verreault replies: "good comment about the skeletal side of it,,,I always picture the t'lan imass to be more like shrunken, shrivelled muscles than skeletal!!!thanks for the comments!!!! great gallery by the way!!!"
