SciFi and Fantasy Art: Captain Caveman!

Actually, I have no idea what to call this thing (the big fleshy toes and fingers as well as the fat hairy forearms reminded me of Captain Caveman, the old cartoon character) I still need to paint a background, but I'm not sure where to place him. Actually, even the color scheme is still in flux; he's reddish-brown now, but I'm thinking of making him more greenish. This was painted in Photoshop using my Wacom stylus

it looks kinda funky. i mean kinda like a mix of a saber tooth tiger, an amphibion of somesort then had ape body. But its a really good piece of art. coloring looks great, matches up nicely. about adding green, maybe it could be kinda likea sloth's green coat, where algee grew on it. but anyways, nice pic.

This pic is so funny and cute that I began laughing hysterically until my donkey fell off. I tried to use the a-word by substituting @ then adding ss and got banned, so the original comment was unseen. Anyway, great pic. Seeing him again, I find my donkey has once again fallen off! Love those luminous eyes, fins and off course immensely huge human-like fingers and toes.

Personally the picture looks retarded and where and the heck did you learn how to draw. Do me a good favor and dont become an artist, keep fliping them burgers.

:-) Joseph Hocking replies: "Too late "Dong." I already am an artist."

Marvelous beastie -- I know of several people who would love to see it as a 3D; a figurine, or better still -- a plushie! Hell, I'd love see it as a plushie -- it could sit next to the Fuzzy (H. Beam Piper)and the 2 plush Cthulhus I have in my collection.
