SciFi and Fantasy Art: Lamia

This is an animation that I created for a video game that I am working on. The creature, called Lamia, is loosely based on the creature of the same name from Greek mythology. Note that I did not create the model or the texture; I created the animation.

Good Luck! I hope you make the game! Tell me if it comes out! etc...

:-) Joseph Hocking replies: "What is up with people these days? This is the second comment in as many days (and only the second comment I've edited in general) because of dozens of lines of irrelevant extra stuff at the end of the message."

And btw, the shadow is really good, i can never seem to get those right, even on still drawings! 2

:-) Joseph Hocking replies: "For clarification since people seem a little confused, this wasn't hand-drawn. This is a render of a 3D animation. In 3D graphics shadows are basically "free" (although I'm glad you like it.)"

I can imagine this thing creeping up on you in a game somewhere in a cool, dark cave with a ton of treasure but also a ton of Lamias. Aren't they also called nagas?

Wow, I hope the game works out, this animation is awesome!

Cool. It kind of looks like the Naga monster from that game... Monster Rancher, I used to play that on the PS when I was a little girl 2 with my little brother.
