THIS is beautiful. I love it lots, you should try to draw as loose and carefree as this, just let it happen, man.

Thanks for the comments, I seriously need to update my elfwood stuff, i've had a year of art-school since then :-P thanks again!

:-) Jason Hood replies: "thanks for the nice comments -she's one of my favoirites also."

I think i like this best of all your stuff. The porportions are much more pleasing to the eye and the shading is really well done too. I like the feeling of movement..like she's falling bad..or he? the title suits as well. Keep up the great work i cant wait to see more updates 2

:-) Jason Hood replies: "thanks for the comments - she's a little different than most of my stuff. but I'm trying to get more movement in my pictures and less posed look. Stop by I haope to update again shortly"

This is beautiful, very ethereal and exotic, and no, she's not falling, she seems more like floating lazily in the air, as if leaning on it, I love this impression...
*ashamed, notices title... blushes* Of course she's floating, it's breeze after all! You've captured the floating movement very well, a great pic! And I love the softness of the shading.

:-) Jason Hood replies: "Thanks for commenting - I still think your picture of the fairy hair is just unbelievable. it's nice to see your comments before you read my title and comments it lets me know what I was trying to accomplish really worked out the way I hoped it would."

I think you should frame it and hang it up on a wall somewhere, because it is a very good picture and should have everybody take interest in it. This is a picture to be pleased about.

:-) Jason Hood replies: "Thank you Alex, I appreciate the comment - I really am very proud of her- and she's one of the less time consuming pieces I've done -funny how labor doesn't always mean the best."

The most interesting part of this piece is that the lighting comes from behind. I've been trying to catch up on my drawing skills lately, and was reading a book on portraits. It talks a lot about lighting, because it often vreates the mood of the picture. Lighting from the back is hard, sometimes makes the picture look only like a silhouette, and usually makes the portrait seem dark in mood. This picture is beautifully done, you can see her features clearly if you, and it isn't darka at all.

:-) Jason Hood replies: "Thanks for commenting - I didn't think much about it when I did it- thought I knew I didn't want her to be to detailed -I was trying to focus more on the lightness and movement of the picture. "

Despite the fact that she looks very light, carelessly falling (on a soft bed perhaps), she seems rather tense. It looks as if she were troubled by something and were trying too hard to relax. I love it. It really expresses human condition.
