SciFi and Fantasy Art: Buy a girl a drink?

This is a simple sketch I did, experimenting with short hair and backgrounds. She may be a little contemporary for elfwood, if enough people think so I'll be glad to remove her.

I think she is Beautiful and very sexy....maybe if its too contemporary for here have her grow some wings and little pointy ears, then she would fit right in.I think it would be cute with her pixieish haircut too!....oh yeah almost forgot!....*I got first comment*..na na

Hey cool! you drew me! No seriously she looks just like me with a better body. I'm so impressed. Yay! All joking aside she's cool.

Far too contemporary! You should remove it now! 10

:-) Jason Hood replies: "Actually I'm beginning to wonder if I should- one of the moderators mentioned to me that she really doesn't belong in elfwood. I'd appreciate feedback - The goal of elfwood seems to have drifted a bit and I'm still playing catchup."

Yeah... she is a bit too contemporary... but also way to brilliant to be rid of! In my (humble) opinion, you should get yourself a Zone site (and maybe draw a gun on the bench for added points, heh).
But placements aside, she in one sexy babe, and exquisitely drawn! Absolutely perfect!

I'm not sure about contemporary...I think she could easily pass for a vampire. A more cliche vampire, yes, but one nonetheless. Gotta love that dress...

Well, if my vampire didn't get through the moderators because there were no teeth showing (but she wore an ankh and looked evil) then I'm wondering why this got through.
But she looks nice and sexy. I like the way you kept the background simple but the woman detailed.
If you want to be sure she's allowed on elfwood, just give her some pointy ears or wings. Or perhaps a spotted skin. (be sure to do it on the computer and not on the original though)

:-) Jason Hood replies: "The only reason she's on here -is I've been on elfwood so long and I've never taken her down. If I ever removed her they'd never let me put her on nowadays. I think elfwood is an amazing sight, however the tightning down has made it hard to get work up - one of the reasons I've not updated in awhile. I had to fight to get helen of troy on because she may have been a real person - not a myth. And My scan quality has not been high enough or a piece of work has been a sketch not a completed piece of work. I have an amazing piece of a inked bathing woman -but she's not "fantasy" enough so I understand your frustration."
