| 14 Jun 2000 | Grace Dawn Palmer | I very much like the dress! Lots of nice detail and crispness here. Thnaks for your comment on my gallery! | |
| 6 Dec 2000 | Lucinda | She's very well drawn. For some reason, she reminds me of the Disney Cinderella's stepmother.... She loks haughty, and possibly manipulative. I can see her in a dark green or deep wine if you changed her to color. She looks like she should have an elegant sitting room or velvet drapes behind her. | |
| 7 Mar 2003 | Misanthrope <misanthrope@ifr...c | As she remind me Milady of Winters (Three Musketeers) I suggest Milady for her name. | |
| 13 Mar 2003 | Anabel Vermeersch (Yshtar) | Wow, you're very good with ink! I find it's suchj a difficult medium myself...anyway...yes, she looks evil somehow....cant say why exactly, but that adds some "personnality" ...and bravo for the clothes! Jason Hood replies: "Thanks annabell- I gotta admit the clothes and hair are my favorite parts of drawing in general- thus the lack of backgrounds" | |
| 13 Mar 2003 | Eric 'Gaarvalf' Forgeot | I wouldn't like to have some affairs (of whatever sort) with her, she doesn't seem very honest But the drawing is perfect, really. Jason Hood replies: "thanks, she's supposed to look pious." | |
| 15 Feb 2004 | Bobo the Nymph | Masterpiece!*flip out* You're good! | |
| 13 Apr 2004 | Anonymous | This has to be one of my favorite pictures on Elfwood. Lovely dress, so simple yet... not. Very hard to put into words, it's so cool! | |
| 23 Jun 2004 | Heather Clever (aka: Hawks) | This is awesome. Love the face, with its beauty mark, and the hair. Hair is one of my favorite parts of people. The dress is pretty unique. The whole thing is just great. Lack of background is alright. I hate drawing them, myself. I feel they make things look cluttered, and often draw away from the characters (if there are any...taking in mind landscape pics...but this is Elfwood.). And all that work. Xp Anyway, great job. I love the whole Dame series. | |
| 29 Jul 2004 | Other | Love it,...how about Countess as a title? I can see her being a sly and ambitious countess who wants the throne for herself. | |
| 9 Jun 2005 | Camena | i agree with "Other" that you should simply name her "Countess". I rather think she looks like a vampire. there was a Hungarian Countess Elizabeth Bathory who was responsible for killing over 600 young women by stripping them and letting them freeze in the snow. i know that's really nasty, but she is part of the reason the myths about vampires arose: one testimony said she bit her victims' wrists. | |
