This is a different look for my drawings, the pens I used didn't scan well, but I think you can get the idea of what i was going for here. - well I've got a different scanner - the color still isn't perfect but to me it seems a lot closer to the original

have you tried using water colours instead of pens they create a much softer texture she is very cute if not a little sunburnt

aww they're really sweet! I love the snail and her expression is amazing. But maybe next time coloured pencils would give a better overall effect?

Awesome! I especially like how the earth tones of her clothes and the snail compliment the peach/orange of her skin.
