SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Squire

This was the 1st study -I've done where I felt the guy reallt looked masculine - I'm very proud of this one - I tend to think of him as a squire - owned and brought up, by a night but destined never to be one.

*dances around happily* Yay, first comment! ^_^ Really great piccy, but the shirt kinda takes away from the medieval, squire-ish effect. Other than that, it looks really good. The unshaven face only adds to the rugged masculine aura. Nice hair and you seem to have the anatomy down. Every human face is flawwed in some way usually and I'm having trouble finding his... Maybe you could add a scar... ?.?

I like the way the shirt is done best. The folds are awesome. I think the reason your guys don't look so masculine is because a square jawbone really helps with that... I dunno
