SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Prince

I'm working on the male physique, by no means my strong point, but you can't spend your whole life drawing beautiful women can you? Please let me know what you think

if you check out my site you'll see Im not the best with the male form either, but I do have a couple of suggestions...make the shoulders and chest a bit broader, also the hips need to be a bit more angular(sp?) but other then that this is a real nice looking piece

The head is very good, as is his face. As for his body..... it shows that you draw mostly women. His body looks to slender, and has a vaugely feminine feel to it. His shoulders & chest should be broader, his hips more angular.... And the posture needs altered. It adds to the female impression. ( I get this speech from my Husband & some of his friends bout my pictures all the time)

This is a great picture. I love the face, very handsome and chisseled like. But, i have acouple nitpicks. First of all, the shoulders are waaaayyy to narrow. It DOES show that your a woman drawer, and the hips too are also too narrow. I mean, men don't have as large of hips as women, but they're not porportioned (<sp?)The hands are too small for the overall perspective of things, they should be masculine, and bigger. Other than that, it's a great start and if you keep practicing, you'll eventually get it right! Don't give up!! Great job!

It's good. Better than I could ever do, but his face is to square and his shoulders...fall. Make the shoulders straight and the face less square and he'd be practically perfect.

Hey, I think your art's wonderful. And you just might be able to draw beautiful women for the rest of your life, you do a great job. (lol) His face looks almost exactly like a guy my mom works with, though. It's sorta funny cause he's a photographer as a hobby sorta, a side job. Thanks for reading my comment, and I think you capture the beauty and life of feminemity very very well. (I think I spelled that wrong, but I spell alot of things wrong anyway, lol)

Hey, I thought it was pretty good, better than mine! Haha, anyway... You made his shoulders a little bit to slender in my opinion. You hafta exagerate those things for the big burly guys, it'll look great.

He looks like Conan O'Brien, but buff.

He's adorable. You can just hear him saying "But, I don't want to use this...thing...it's too heavy, I might strain my wrist!" very feminine...like a prince that's too spoiled. I love it!!

Men are more block-ey than women. Don't curve the hips as much or go as far in with the torso. Square the shoulders a bit.
