| 7 Mar 2003 | Alana Westwood | Very good! I love it. The hair is elegantly done and adds for a very... wintry... effect. One thing, the hairline is set too high on her haid making her forehead rather large. Other than that, great. Sorry if I go a little overboard on the constructive criticism, but you did say you were open to recommendations. Jason Hood replies: "Actually I really appreciate the feedback - I never thought/noticed it before and no one has ever mentioned it - but you're probably right I have to go through my sketchbooks and really look at them with that thought in mind. Thanks for being truthful" | |
| 12 Mar 2003 | Tekla Freiholtz | Very nice pic, It´s very softly drawn. Like it very much | |
| 14 May 2003 | Kine Bjerke | Omg. I love this one. Especially the "simple" way it's drawn in. I like the fact that you have used very few lines and not overdone the shading...As i tend to do. Keep it up | |

| 13 Apr 2004 | Anonymous | Again, wonderful picture. The only flaw I see is that the eyes are a bit farset, but otherwise it is the perfect representation for the season! | |
| 9 Jun 2005 | J. lawrence | Wonderful. She struck me as a personification of winter before i read the title! | |
| 21 Jun 2005 | John Ryan Byrd | ok, beautiful face, It'd be much easier to illustrate or show you with a pencil, you might not even get this, but the eyes are exactly one half the distance between the chin and the top of the head, you got that right, draw a light eliptical line through the middle of where you want the face to be, then start with little light ticks or dots, The eyes are exactly one eyespace apart, so you need three spaces, or 4 total dots/ticks, then from the center of the eyes, disect the face in half, from there, the place where the bottom of the nose attaches to the face is exactly one and one half eye spaces down from the center of the face, or the eye line. whew, then the opening of the mouth is exactly 3/4 eyespaces down from the base of the nose. Crud, I soo wish I could illustrate it for you. Oh well, Grab Byrne Hogarth's Dynamic anatomy and several of his other books to learn more on this. | |
| 3 Sep 2005 | CK not calvin klien | I can see that you are into a lot of mid evil themes. I have always like the way that you have drawn the detail. | |
| 9 Jun 2006 | Risa C. Wampler | It's a really great drawing. There is not a better way to draw Winter. I love how her hair kind of tapers out without a distinctive line between it and the paper | |
| 22 Jun 2007 | Anonymous | Its fabulous love the hair. Eyes a bit out of proportion. But is wonderful all the same | |
