SciFi and Fantasy Art: Guardian of Heaven

I dedicate this picture to my grandfather, who left us here on earth for the gates of heaven on the 16th of February 2001. His kind nature is greatly missed, and he shall remain in our hearts(especially mine) forever.
This picture is of an angel, one of heaven's guardians. The little dog, is supposed to be Trixie, my grandfather's little toy poodle whom he loved dearly and treated just like a child. It's a pretty rough sketch, but, I just had to draw it. Grandpa, where ever you are, I love you dearly and wish that you could be with all of us once again.

3 Jul 2002	Marie Makin	Loading... I love this. They all look so happy. I have not lost my grandfather, thank god, but I think I know how I would feel if I did. I love my grandad to bits. I almost cried when I saw this, the angel is so beautiful, and the dog looks like he is smiling.

It's drawings like these that are just undescribable. You can't say "perfect", that doesn't work. I think this is one of the best pictures on the whole site. wow.
