Germain Collinge Ménard replies: "I made my thumbnail before the picture was actually uploaded on the page, but it's here now. Thanks!" | |
| 11 Mar 2006 | IyeLander | Hello. You're artwork is great. I'm eager to see more of this watercolor, now! I suppose it's not updated out here yet? Well, I just wanted to say I like it, and I like your Fan Art too! Germain Collinge Ménard replies: "It's updated now ( ). Thanks!" | |
| 22 Apr 2006 | LeAnne Rheaume*Sharitai* | it's not a problem to calmly, cooly, make a flamer feel extremely stupid for dissing something that shouldn't be made fun of.Your angel guy is about as far from a manga character can be,only the great hair and lack of a six pack make it seem like one actually, he looks like a surfer from san diego or something...*looks sideways* Yes, wings double as two wakeboards!surf's up dudes! *does the surfer finger thingy* Keep up the "manga"! Germain Collinge Ménard replies: "Hehehe... Yeah, well, thanks!" | |
| 23 Jul 2006 | Jay W.B. Hildybrant | I read your comment on Anika's page and I felt sorrow, mainly because I can relate. It seems many artists who so frequently visited this woodsy place have either moved on to newer worlds or have hid themselves away in the thickness of the woods. I too have neglected Elfwood in the past year. So... I'm here to say keep drawing, your "mushroom hat" puts a smile on my face, peolpe are watching Germain Collinge Ménard replies: "Yes. Anika have stopped updating anything at all to her gallery, and seems to have disappeared, just like many other artists whose presence a few years ago was so worthy and made Elfwood a better, more interesting place. I thought you had too, Jay, and it's good to hear news from you. Of course, there are constantly new people joining this endless forest, and some are probably as good and talented and present as people like you and Anika were, but the tranformation of a once vivid part of the wood into a ghost place, a misty, transparent and silent clearing... it's obvious, never the less. It's sad. I had forgotten my gallery full of pixies and archer elves for a time too, but I came back and I'm trying to make it sparkle a bit again. But I'm really glad to hear from you; you probably don't know how much like a thread of hope it sounds." | |
| 7 Oct 2006 | Chloé | Thanks. This is supposed to be the hardest year of school, and I have to say, it's living up to it's reputation. Yech. Glad you're having fun though! Germain Collinge Ménard replies: "Yes, thanks! I have a really random question for you, though. There was that dance at your birthday where everyone kept spinning and touching their feet... That was completely foreign to me and it's probably proper to the US, but I did try to dance it then and love it. What is it? Thanks! And thanks again, for leaving comments. " | |
| 7 Oct 2006 | Chloé | Just curious, do you have a DeviantArt gallery as well? Random question I know. How's school? Germain Collinge Ménard replies: " Hey Chloé! Nope, I don't. I think I did join DeviantArt one day, though, but I never posted any work on it, and now my username is probably lost for ever... XD School is going ok, it's my last year here and I'm trying to get the more implied I can to make it as fun as possible... And you?" | |
| 11 Oct 2006 | Mystery | Wow, your art is great! I really like your style and I'll definitely visit back more often to let my eyes have a little fun watching your stuff! ~Lena Germain Collinge Ménard replies: "Well, thanks! That's a little warm cuddle for my heart, I do appreciate it, thank you!" | |
| 7 Jan 2007 | Anonymous | Yeah I'm using English but is not my primary language. I'm very happy for you, you have a good english and no me Now i know your interest! I prefer Anonymous identity because if I do not that: It's easy to know because if I enter my email, you now my identity. Anonymous Germain Collinge Ménard replies: "Woah! Is this a trick or something? ...I'm supposed to know you, according to the fact that I know your email, but you don't want to tell me here? Because you don't want me to know, you want to stay secret and all mysterious? And you're happy to know my interests now? Is that it? lol English ain't my first language either, as you must pretty well know. You could just leave a comment in any language you'd like, if it's easier for you, I'll see if I understand it and reply... The thing with people called 'Anonymous' is they can't be distincted from any other anonymous commenter, so you could come back again, and leave another comment, and I'd never know if it really is you again... And yet... Thanks for commenting, anyway. " | |
