SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragon Sketch

I've decided to start showing some my random scketches that I've drawn while away at Tech School. I'll add some more completed work after I've finished some. Anyway here's a dragon sketch that manage to keep. I'm often sketching dragons anytime have peace of paper in front of me, but I usally end up giving them away. This pic was drawn with a regular ink pen. For some reason I perfer to sketch with inkpens vs. using a pencil.

I suck at drawning dragons so if you could plz give me some pointers that would be awesome, i hope you dont mined if i use this dragon as a referanceno prob. Just try not to copy it. As for pointers I would say just have fun, there's no set rules how dragons should look so you try lot different things.
