SciFi and Fantasy Art: Tom Bombadil

For those who don't know him, a quite mysterious character in The Lord of the rings. One doesn't really know what kind of creature he is, even if he has the shape of an old man. He seems to be eternal, bound to Middle earth and its destiny. I thought it was interesting to represent him with clothes that have nothing to do with each other -drawn with Sanguine pencil-

Ho Tom-bombadil, Tom-bombadilo...He's such a neat character. The pose is neat, the feathers look realistic (I've never done feathers well). Nice coloring, too.

Tom Bombadil's jacket is supposed to be blue! His boots are supposed to be yellow! Also he sounds more like a cheery stout man, not a crippled old man!

I disagree with the last comment, i think this is a great pic and that he doesn't look crippled, he looks like a cool old sage. I also agree with the first one, the feathers look as if they are real. Nice one, i wish i could draw like this!!! =)
