SciFi and Fantasy Art: Bearded Axe

This is what we get if I've a bit more time to attend to drawing. This is still a fairly early piece, and not very complex. I like it, though, I hung it on the wall of my cubicle, and it keeps the visitors down... I've played with the image, and this one is smaller and more true to the impression of the original. I think that actual decent images will have to wait for a new scanner.

20 Dec 2000	Wendelien Meijer	Loading... No wonder...jikes! Do you have some sort of paint program to work on the scans a bit? Try fiddling around a bit with lighting, contrast and gamma. instantly brings out the pics more. And the secret word to both black & white as coloured pictures is: contrast! Easier said than done, I know. But you'll see it'll work for you in the end! Keep drawing and notify me when you put some new stuff up K!
21 Dec 2000	Diedra Rater	Loading... I agree with #1 comment up there. I think you could bring out the pic a whole lot by fiddling with the contrast and brightness. Also, do you think you could, perhaps, make the pics a wee bit smaller? It's cooler I think when it's down to a size where you can take it in all in one breath, if ya know what I mean. Nice work, btw. I never have the patience for weapons. Yep. Fiddled with it a bit, but now that I've got the new scanner up, I have to just get the original rescanned. It should be much better defined this time.
