You have a style that i truly admire. I would love for you to comment on my art. Pretty please? You rock
| 25 Sep 2004 | Kent | Loading...He has a definitely angry look on his face, like he's ready to use his weapons on someone. The clothing has a definite rugged and fantastical look to it.
Too often I see clothing in fantasy drawings that won't stand up to travel. His looks like it's built to last. The cloak just adds a coolness factor to it.
The proportions seem almost right as well, though he looks like he's a bit more leg than body. There isn't anything wrong with that, some people are mostly leg anyway. But, with a halfling you'd imagine they'd be about even across the board.
| 10 Dec 2005 | Anonymous | Loading...People care too much about the "rules" of fantasy. Maybe your hafling is from the north and they have no choice but to wear shoes, or maybe it's just your imagination's halfling. Don't listen to that stuff, it really doesn't have anything to do with your pciture, which i think is really great. Nice job, I love the detail and the pose. | |
| 13 Dec 2005 | Rhiannon E. Ash | Loading...OMG... I luv this pic but I just HAVE to say this cuz I'm dumb and it's funny: When I saw the thumbnail, I could've SWORE it was a hocky player! The way his arm and the cloak fall look like the stick and then your siggy... Bah, don't mind me, I'm a nut. Rogue...thief... who cares? It's an awesome piece of work! | |
| 3 Jan 2006 | Guffe-M | Loading...First of all, great pic.. Looks like a halfling thief i ones played in D&D, Cristof Voleur. And to all of you that say that halfling donīt use shoses... your not right... Tolkinīs hobbits donīt use shoes, D&D halflings do, and this is a halfling, and not a hobbit, can he use shoes... | |
| 10 Jun 2006 | Donna s. habinck | Loading...i like this. He is so cool. | |
| 6 Dec 2006 | Heidi Hecht | Loading...Only thing that isn't "realistic" about him is that he's wearing boots. Most Halflings don't. Very good pic otherwise. | |
| 28 Apr 2007 | Hurg | Loading...I have something to say to Ivan
HALFLINGS DO WEAR SHOES!!!! hobbits dont
there are two hugely different types of halflings
the favored LOTR type (doesn't wear shoes) and then the D&D type (wear shoes without problem)
The halfling is a perfectfit to what i would think a 'halfling' is
| 20 Jul 2007 | Suzzanne Linklottle | Loading...Fantastic work with the halfling. Not sure if I like the boots as a general concept. The outline work and shading are well done however I would have liked to see more details admist the material, cross hatching and the sort. | |
