| 24 Mar 2004 | darkayla | Ummm interesting idea of her not bein a ****. Also, nice picture apart from the way you've made her face go in, makes it look like her face has a shalf on it | |
| 1 Aug 2004 | Carry Me | I agree with Rodger P. There are many different takings on the Auther tales and this waz her dream! I personally love her hair who cares if its surposed 2 be blonde or not in some stories its brown and others its red and in another its blonde. I also love her dress its abosolutelly beautiful. Gr8 work!! | |
| 25 Oct 2004 | Gwenhwyfar | p.s.s. and now to continue *** I am not terribly refined in the use of computers - consider these words taken from a current day although of old shield of faith *words spoken from heart in the service of real love*
A knight is sworn to valor Her heart knows only virtue Her blade defends the helpless Her might upholds the weak Her word speaks only truth Her wrath undoes the wicked
"the rose of the knights" so desired Gwenivere - by grace | |
| 25 Oct 2004 | Gwenhwyfar | I believe this to be true. Many of the comments from others to you, regarding your remarks, are rather petulant as treating Gwenivere as a subject of laughter or sport and can cause me to be somewhat sorrow-filled. When will the false fable ever subside? Who could really feel unfaithfulness is romantic? She, although a tease at times, yet faithful to Arthur and definitely a knight was. Remember when the fable was written, of her fling, supposedly, with the person so named Lancelot. It definitely was not written during her lifetime. As with today, in the tabloids and newspapers, a word-smith can't seem to get stories written accurately, even when reported on that that is the day of the occurrence; so it was with the fable written hundreds of years after the event. Also there was no literal record found to substantiate the tales authenticity. There are often those who would prefer, for personal reasons, to write fables not fact. Let us remember what happened to women in those times whether daughters of men with land or not. She was a rose of heart but needed thorns to protect herself from being picked ... so the need for swordsmanship; not to fill a desire for the blade of blood for battles of greed, but for defense of self and others in her care. p.s. the strands of red-blond hair are fine | |
