SciFi and Fantasy Art: Lolandir, God of the Wood Elves
Lolandir is the God of the Wood Elves. His lower left arm is covered for a reason- it is covered in the marks of sin and disgrace- a tradition comon to Wood Elves, especially Gods and Goddesses. Even though it was no fault of his own, he still carries this mark, and his powers are not as strong as they would normally be. Still, the elven Wood God powers took pity on him, and he wasn't stripped of his powers like he would normally be.
Wood elves do not place a very great importance on their Gods and Goddesses, like the Aquatic elves, and unlike the High elves.
The symbol of their lifeforce and the thing they give to their 'chosen' are wooden arm jewelery- which are 'grown' rather then carved.
This is before I started to vary the line width... I was also too lazy to draw the intricate embroidery on his jerkin.
