SciFi and Fantasy Art: Melchior Xylaz, Chibi style

Melchior is 1/4 human, and 3/4 ' ancient'.

Information about 'ancients': They are an ancient, long-lived race. Their typical lifespan is about 3000 years. They are decended from gods and goddesses- each family has a large feature that they are associated with, and the 'head' family of each of these, has a god or goddess that is reborn into their bloodline. These reborn deities share a body with their decendent, which sometimes can be a difficult situation depending on personalities. The 'ancients' are sometimes seen as dark, because of their association with demons. However, this association is complicated- there are demon gates into that world are guarded by 'ancients'. Demons cannot go back through the gates, and if destroyed, will taint and corrupt the world. So the 'ancients' seal the demons into crystals, and use these crystals like batteries, until the energies are used up- and then they dissapear, without harming the earth.

Melchior is from a head family of a certain nebula, and is a senior at a prestigious magic school.

A more recent picture, I had fun incorperating some textures into his leather. I love the way his hair turned out.

I've made this character into a doll- he currently resides in a Mythdoll Little Leroi, but later this year (once I save up enough), he will be transfered into a Dollzone Ray.
