| 26 Nov 2005 | Norma Peters | Very pretty! I like the delicate and graceful linework. You've given the nymph a special beauty of her own - she's definitely a beautiful little individual. John-Clayton Wilson replies: "Thank you so much for your comments. I would have better detailed pictures here if i didn't have so much college homework. My art class occupies about .... all my life with assignments. I'm in painting this year. But thanx for your wonderful comment!" | |
| 21 Dec 2005 | Wayne H. Hodge | This is very pretty and I really like it. The only thing that I can see wrong with it is that her hips are a little off for the position that she is in, but not enough to take away from the overall beauty of the picture. Great Job! I can't draw women worth a crap!! ;O) John-Clayton Wilson replies: "Nice observation. I never noticed. I need to shade my figures some more to give them that real sense of depth and volume, you know? Maybe I'll be able to do that now I'm on Christmas break! Thanks for stopping by.The more people the merrier!" | |
| 24 Dec 2005 | Frida Leijonborg | so, I thought I'd return the favor and comment some more since you left me so many great comments on my gallery! ^^ I really like this one, it's the tree that does it, it's an excellent tree, I tell you. I like this kind of style on trees. and it's such a swirly and pretty tree. *has said 'tree' too many times* TREE!. o.O Eh, so now that I got that out of my system (great tree!xD), on to the nymph; I like her, cool pose, but there's something about her body that looks odd to me, could be that her upper body is in the wrong angle in comparison to her hips, but then again, I'm not an anatomy expert so, ignore me, for they could very well be completely anatomically correct. ^^ Anyway, great pic! John-Clayton Wilson replies: "Well I hope I got the anatomy right cause my art prof would kill me if it was wrong. Anyways, I just thought since she's more leaning relaxed- like than sitting, that she would lean against my tree. *which I love as well yay for swirly trees* Anyways, I think it looks alright but this is why I like comments to spot these things and I can improve it for my next drawings. Thanks." | |
| 24 Jan 2006 | Courtney ´Katy´ Howard | I really like this pic, though I get more of the feeling that she's looking down from her perch at the viewer like a princess or somat, a freindly princess, but she's just got that extra som'n, perhaps because the tree is so willing to cradle her. Not chisled out to make her seat, but just bending that way naturally. meh, I make no sense. Wonderful job in any case! John-Clayton Wilson replies: "Thanks for the comment. It does make sense and it makes for a great interpretation!! And thank you for stopping by. I have about 12 more pics coming soon and some of them are even colored, if you want to check it out!!" | |
| 10 Jul 2006 | Lorian Kedrake | I really like this picture....she has a simply beauty to her... not to mention I never seem to find many pics of females with wide hips. John-Clayton Wilson replies: "Yah, women nowadays are always skinny and have like no meat on their bones. I enjoy the fact that this nymph has bigger hips, and I'm glad you like it too. Thanks for the comment!" | |
| 24 Aug 2006 | Steve | This picture is really cool, and i lyk the hair that you gave her John-Clayton Wilson replies: "Thank you." | |
