SciFi and Fantasy Art: Enemies Beware! It's Scruf the Tuff!

This is Scruff the Tuff! He is spoken of in old folklore of the Tomerians, a race of sprites in the deep forest of Morrest, which I am currently writing a story about. He may be the size of a small child, but be cautious of his ever trusty axestick! He has sneakers on because he went to our reality via a portal or "doorway" from his own world. Please comment on my drawings as I would like to hear peoples' comments.

Hey man good work tho the arms on this guy look a little small to carry the axe but hey its still awsome

12 John-Clayton Wilson replies: "Thank you very much!! I'll be sure to check out your site soon. I have some more coming but with the long ticket line it might take a while."

Das the COOLEST axe I've EVER seen!!!!!!XD XD. NOw COLOR IT lollz

16 John-Clayton Wilson replies: "Ok I'll try to color it if I can find some time between all my homework and readings. College is hard work!!!"

I love it! *smirks* I want him as a body guard! I agree; if ya get time color it it will be lovely! Good luck in college, BTW. I, too, know how much homework sucks...

18 John-Clayton Wilson replies: "Well I guess that settles it. I must color this picture! I don't know what to use though. Watercolor? Acylic? Photoshop? or good old regular pencil crayons? What do you guys think?"

It's weird commenting on my own elfwood site. But I am in the process of coloring this one. I got Photoshop 9.0 and it's nearly completed so people will actually get to see color in my site. Just wait a little longer for this pic,ok? and that's it....

Very nice. His upper arms look a little small in comparison to his lower arms. I do, however, love his weapons =D

12 John-Clayton Wilson replies: "Hmmm I dont see a difference in length for the arms but meh. Thanks for stopping by."

Excellent! He looks as if he would make a kickass video game character. I love the look of fierce determination on his face, and that axe absolutely rocks!

2 John-Clayton Wilson replies: "You really think so?? Im coloring this guy so you'll be able to see this new one soon. Once I'm done him of course!! Go Scruff!!"

I like this too. That ax is awesome. The only thing that I seen wrong (and it's minor) is that the bicep on his arm holding the ax is a little too small compared to his forearm and the bicep on his arm holding the sword. ;o)

:-) John-Clayton Wilson replies: "I agree. I drew the arms on this guy a little out of wack but oh well. I like him the way he is. And he's still one of my favorites."

Nice lineart! and he looks like he has a lot of attitude too, definitely wouldn't wanna make him mad, especially since he looks like he knows how to use that killer axe aswell. and the knife too for that matter. o: well done!

1 John-Clayton Wilson replies: "Thanks! This guy will soon appear in color on my site but the ticket line has been taking forever!!! Then we have to wait for the other colored pics I have done, so more waiting. I'm not liking this waiting thing.. Oh ya he does have a bit of an attitude but that's only because he's a warrior for his race, who are generally gentle spirits (all in my story you see). "

12 John-Clayton Wilson replies: "Hehe thanks. Your description is pretty accurate actually. He may be small, but don't mess with him! 12"
