SciFi and Fantasy Art: Crom Cruach (death worm)

This is one is cool... when i first drew it I didnt really have a name for it, but when i showed it to a friend of mine, he told me about a celtic legend of a death worm named Crom Cruach. He said 'Crom is the symbol of all thats evil!! and you drew IT!!..HAHAHAHA'. So the name stuck.

It's a horrifying and strange sounding worm, snake or lizard -- if you like weird stuff, you will find it fascinating. As for your drawing: pretty cool! Thanks for sharing. You have great skill at drawing worms. i have always loved them, too, however iI have misplaced most of mine. Anyhow, stop by and leave a comment. I'd love to know what you think of my work.

8 Jan 2004	Brandy Underwood	Loading... Hey, great picture! I just wanted to say though that Crom Cruach is not necessarily the epitome of all evil. But was a Celtic underworld god that has both dark and light sides. But was depicted as pure evil by the Romans (who were attempting to smother the traditional religions and force their own onto the Celts) Just wanted to point out that things are not always as they appear.

But Sometimes I think that I might be the living incarnation of the god Crom on earth........ Yeah!! Ha! Ha! real funny huh? please don't bother telling me how truly ridiculous you all think it is it's just something I had to get of my chest.
