SciFi and Fantasy Art: Swordswoman with eyepatch or a weird taste in headgear.

(Done in 1998)
Here you have a swordswoman drawn at the back of a math-exercise book. I didn't get her other eye right, and since I used pen, I could not fix it. So she got herself an eyepatch, or maybe she just has this weird taste in headgear, and likes to cover one eye...

i think she's lovely. people are far too discriminatory against one-eyed beauties these days. she may have an empty ocular cavity, but she cans still kill that big blob of fur in the river like nobody's business. (g.185)

Heh... I can identify with the "one eyed beauty" comment.. I almost lost my eye over the summer... had I not been wearing my glasses I'd have monocular vision. But anyway, aherm. I like the pose you used, and I see nothing wrong with her head gear! ^_^

:-) Jon Ringsevjen replies: "Hello. when I said wierd headgear I meant the "headband" combined with the black eyepatch-thing. 1"

Dude, you have got to work for me! I need artists like you to draw my extremely sexualized, yet ass-kickin' heroines.

:-) Jon Ringsevjen replies: "Hehe, I take that as a compliment, thankyouverymuch!"

ooh nice!
I like to think of that patch as a cool comb-over fringe, dyed red with the blood of her foes. Of course it looks black in the picture, but...

okay maybe the blood thing was a kinda gross idea.

So she just has oddly coloured hair. Sweet!

:-) Jon Ringsevjen replies: "Great comment! Thank you!"

Whee...don't be insulting people with only one eye! My mom recently lost vision in her left eye due to a car accident. Anyway, this is great, especially for something in pen! And I think that she had a bandanna wrapped around her head, and it just fell over one eye

:-) Jon Ringsevjen replies: "Sorry fopr your mom! I'm glad you liked my drawing."

The fierce little swordswoman might have lost an eye in battle, but the one she kept was definitely her fashion eye, because her smart choice of headgear makes it look all the prettier alone.

:-) Jon Ringsevjen replies: "Wow, thanks for the nice comment! I completely agree with your take on her story. "
