Wow.... I really love this picture. It's got so much mood and detail. I don't think you need a background. I think It would distract you from focus point. This way she stands out and the feeling really grabs you. 19)

:-) Jon Ringsevjen replies: "Thanks. I don't think I would have made a background in either case.. I'm quite lazy.. "

Yes, i like this one very much. Good detail, and it looks fine without the background.
I like her pose. That and her outfit with the feathers in her hair, reminds me of some of the old native american clothing that people in northern tribes used to ware. Is this picture at all native inspired???

:-) Jon Ringsevjen replies: "The clothing is inspired by role-playing-world-barbarians, but then again their clothing is probably inspired by american indian clothing. "

Wow! This is great, I love the expression in her face and the way her hair dangles down over it. I think this has to be one of your best sketches, but I also love the water colour one on the next page 1 thats great.

:-) Jon Ringsevjen replies: "I'm glad you like it!"

Excellent work controlling the pencil strokes on this one. This is a very evocative piece, I can feel the cool crisp air and the look of contemplation on the young woman’s face.

:-) Jon Ringsevjen replies: "Thank you very much! I'm glad you like it and that you think I succeeded with this one."

She looks very interesting...Her clothes and face[ i love this scar on her face].
Also background is very nice, maybe it looks too simple but whole picture is good:]

:-) Jon Ringsevjen replies: "Thank you for the comment! As for the background, I'm not sure. Maybe it is a bit simplistic, but then again, it's a background - a thing I usually omit in my drawings, so I'm okey with it. 2 I'll just have to practice some more on backgrounds. Hehe."
