SciFi and Fantasy Art: Anansi

A while back I had picked up a book on world myths and stories and had read about a spirit found both in Jamaican and African folklore, named Anansi. Anansi was a spider spirit who was said to be a trickster and, in some tales, the creator of mankind. Could mankind be Anansi's greatest trick of all? Done with black ink stippling.

That's awesome!!! I like how the womb is the body of the spider. Very cool. Stippleing can be a real hassle to me. How did you find the patience? I tend to stay away from photoshop too, for lack of patience there as well. Not that this has anything to do with the coolio Anansi. Wow...i think i'm gonna look that up now. Bye!
