SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dwarf

i've been to that strip club but i dont remember him.

Fine fine, I'll use english... That dwarf looks incredibally like an orc.

I feel that dwarf is just about perfect. say 4'3" and well muscled. great work

Love the outfit...where do you get your clothing ideas???

Josh Sin replies: "Honestly, the ideas for the armor, clothing all come together as I think about the character. Sometimes this leads to some impractical armor, but more costumes that add on to the character's personality. If every character we drew only wore realistic, practical clothing and armor, that would be pretty monotonous and boring right?"

Dude... You rock! As for the pick, it is a perfect selection of weaponry. Dwarves make good miners... miners that use picks. Dwarves make good blacksmiths... blacksmiths that make picks. Dwarves make good fighters and yes fighters that use picks. One of the weirdest things I've seen if a dwarf that uses a long sword, but you see them more often than pick welding dwarves. The only thing I can say that isn't good about your dwarf is, next time draw him, draw him with his eyes open he looks un-naturel standing there with his eyes closed.

Hey Josh, ::looks at his dwarf, then at hers shes about to scan and is thinking of putting on her site:: Um....yep, yours is definatly better than mine, mine isn't so grim and gruff and ruff, mine looks like "HEE HEE I'm a short guy with an axe and a shield HEE HEE" LOL But mine is more cute, he is a young guy anyway. Anyway, lol I was here to comment,s o what am I doing? Very cool dude, I like this, and I get mad at people who say "that dwarf is too tall" because, fantasy is like clay, you mold it to your views. So, maybe this is a particular line of dwarf, thats a bit taller than the rest? Very good..... )

Josh Sin replies: "Thanks Kate! I agree. If I made this guy any shorter, it would be physiologically impossible for him to bend his joints.."

If I saw a dwarf swinging a pick at me, I'd run screaming. Your DM was an idiot. This guy looks like a real veteran, too. Does he say things like "carnsarnit" and such?

Josh Sin replies: "What's carnsarnit mean? I think he said things like "Aye Laddie, come sniff mae boot.." (THWUMP!)"

Love the helmet. One of the best dwarves on the site.

this is a great picture of a dwarf. U should keep up the great work.!

Although I don't think that he really looks so dwarvish, he looks pretty cool! Especially his armor and his weapon are outstanding!
