| 8 Aug 2001 | Robyn *Amarok* Arbogast | I love the shading on the arm!! It's awesome! | |
| 22 Mar 2002 | Henrik Söderström | Great picture! Purrrrrr! Although i must say the cat looks a little fuzzy....other, greatly great! | |
| 17 May 2002 | Nicole Leigh Bouchard | Awesome job! I especially like the different textures on the dragon. | |
| 19 Jun 2002 | Michael Yucka | It is a great idea and pretty well done. I do have some suggestions for you though.
* I have a hard time discerning the characters. You should use some shadowing on the characters to help show the contours of their features.
* This one is aesthetic only...Try having them pose a little differently. This pose is nice and it shows comrodery, however, say having the cat putting his right paw 0n the dragons neck and having them making "visible" eye contact to the viewer. It will look more dynamic and give you a better view of both characters.
Overall, this is a good work. Keep it up and post more!!
| 1 Jul 2002 | Jacob S. Wendel | The dragon's skin texture is a bit strange. Hmm... more detail? | |
| 30 Sep 2003 | Meg | p.s. The dragons eyes should possibly be more green so they dont match the kittan. I'm just all about contrast >.< | |
| 30 Sep 2003 | Meg | I like the cats texture alot but I think the dragon needs to be smoothed out a bit for contrast, maybe more smoothe (even scaly) than rough-looking. >^o.o^< | |
| 11 Oct 2004 | Emma Lydia Bates | I agree with the comments below, this needs some shading and so on. It's very hard to make out the individual parts of the picture. That said, I like the dragon. How did you 'make' this drawing? I've never really seen anything like it before? | |
| 10 Dec 2004 | Emma-Jane C. Smith | I think the dragon looks like his own little forest! I love the colour green you did him with, it reminds me of a deep dark cave, only accessable from the water of the ocean. And the water is that beautiful green colour that makes the light dance green on the walls and roof of cave because the water is somehow luminous on its own.
Good work anyways... sorry I got carried away with green there...
| 21 Dec 2004 | Iseult Murphy | The dragon is very sweet, I love his expression and the cat stroking him shows their close friendship. My only cc would be that the figures in the foreground are much less defined than the background thereby drawing the eye to the trees rather than to the dragon and his friend. I think more tonal variation and light and shade would help make the dragon and the cat look more real and solid. Keep up the good work. | |
