SciFi and Fantasy Art: A prayer for the dying

Well this was intended as Luthien (from Tolkien's Silmarillian), buuuuut since then i dont think the face is that of Luthien so ive reworked it a bit (just some photoshop tinting) and now its just an elvish lady praying for the souls of all the elves who went to Mandos's Halls after the battle of the unnumbered tears...

I was so upset that I lost Maxine’s valuable comments on the pencil version of this when i accidently deleted it, that I am pasting it here think i rather like the uncomplete of this drawing... it makes her seem very ethereal and heavenly at prayer, almost like a halo is forming about her... better ear on this one, and excellent hands, that is a very difficult pose you have chosen, and the clasped hands are drawn well - maXine Juhi dhar replies: "thanks you so much!!! . alll of these i always intend on getting back to them and painting them, but im not so sure of my control over the medium so........... ah well. all in its own time "
