SciFi and Fantasy Art: Blue Tree Spirit

This is somewhat of a self portrait, not literally, but figuratively.  The tree is sculpted from apoxie sculpt and the face is polymer clay. The gemstones leaves are lapis lazuli.  She stands about 10 1/2 inches tall. It symbolizes depression and looking behind rather than towards the future.

I love all of your work. You have such incredible talent. If you look at this piece with another mind set (other than, looking in the past/depression), you kind of get a mental image of the tree spirit looking in it's leaves for something like a squirrel that's is annoying it or something. I find Humor in everything tho. Keep making the awesome art.
