| 9 May 2005 | Shawn | none of your business must be jealous of your talent. Anyways this tree is amazing. God Job! Julianne Sizemore replies: "He/she has a right to their opinion, but it's hard to take anyone seriously when they hide behind a pseudonym, and won't show what kind of talent or abilities they themselves possess. Thanks Shawn!" | |
| 9 May 2005 | Erin ´EireWolf´ Metcalf | This is brilliant, original, and beautiful. I wish I could think of a better comment, because this piece deserves it. I've only just heard of epoxy sculpt; is it fun to work with? (I'm a sculptor too.) Congrats on a well-deserved mod's choice! Julianne Sizemore replies: "Thanks! Yes I love working with it but it takes a bit of practice with the technique. It is so much different from working with clay, because it's texture is more like putty. However the strength is so much greater than polymer clay there is no real comparison. There is no way I would attempt something like this with polymer, because there would be no way to ship it and it just wouldn't hold up. I use it for many things that just wouldn't work with other mediums due to fragility." | |
| 9 May 2005 | Patrick Cowart | I don't usually go in for sculpture pieces (at least not pics of em), but this one intruigues me. I like the web and the face on the trunk. The bark texture is also well done. Julianne Sizemore replies: "You're so right, it's hard to translate 3D work into 2D images. So often they just don't come through in photos. Thanks a bunch!" | |

| 13 May 2005 | Dagmar Jung | Congrats on mod's choice, the first of many to come, I'm sure. I had hoped and expected to see one of your sculptures getting a mod's, but somehow missed it when it was up. | |
| 11 Aug 2005 | Anonymous | what did you use to make the web the tree is holding? It looks really cool! | |

| 21 Mar 2006 | Shelz Keast | Lovely! Looks like thos chinese gemstone trees. The one were all the leaves are stones. Very pritty. | |
| 21 Mar 2006 | Rachel | Wow, I know I should be commenting about the "tree", but what really caught my attention was the base. I abosolutely love that. It's so real looking. I also like the thing that the tree is weaving. It looks so much like a spiderweb. I love it. Rachel Julianne Sizemore replies: "Thanks! Yeah it's a web, but was a bear to make. I had to glue fishing line together to make it. I actually had a small spider dangling from it too, but I don't know if that ever showed up well in the photos." | |
