SciFi and Fantasy Art: Unicorn bust

My first foray into horses/unicorns. I didn't like the way the base turned out but otherwise I think it came out pretty good. Sculpted from polymer clay and apoxie sculpt. Main is Tussah silk.

She looks just like one of the horses at the stable I ride at!!! 'cept Cariad is bay, but everyone agrees that she is the prettiest horse at the stable.

Wow! At first I thought this was a really good drawing, but a sculpture?! Boy I wish I could do something like that. Very beautiful, bravo! I envy you.

For a first attempt, it's definetely good. Horses aren't easy. One thing I did notice is that the distance from the beginning of the muzzle to the cheek is a bit short. Also, the ears could be a bit more slender, but it's not a necessary thing. Congrats on a great first try.

I don't see any mistakes... He/she looks like ana arab horse. Very well done in that. I love this work of yours. Just a question: how do you do these things and what materials do you use?
