SciFi and Fantasy Art: Atlas' Struggle

Anybody who knows greek mythology knows this image. Atlas' endless punishment to hold up the earth... Some say he had to hold up the sky, but I like the other versions better. Anyway, I may have messed up the back-upper arm a little. I didn't know to use gestural drawing before hand to get the meassurement right, but oh well :) Plus I added the little joke 'thought' in there (if you can read it) about his nose itching ;)

Juli 'Jules' Shelton replies: "Yeah, I actually thought about doing a revised version with sky-in-tote, but I decided to stick with this one. It's got sentimental significance now."

And if so, you'd think that he'd want to stay as far away from Earth as possible after what Cronos did to him... Juli 'Jules' Shelton replies: "Yes!!! I'm not the only one who got that! lol Uranus supposely took off, so it never made sense to me! I thought maybe I just miss understood. "
