| 17 Oct 2001 | AngryFinn | Marvellous legs!! Great muscle structure, brilliant shading and nice toes. *Tickles* | |
| 12 Feb 2002 | Emily Smirle | From what I recall (gets all grizzly and old) gnolls were always hyena-like, since redbox at any rate. I'm not familiar with the mythology behind them, so I can't say how badly mangled the original may or may not be. However, this fella, with his stripes, lookes like a Striped Hyena, rather than a Spotted Hyena. Probably not what you were aiming for, but I think he looks very cool. Those legs and feet *are* very well done, and I like the way the cloak flows. Heck, your overall composition and design makes me drool. *salivate* Keep up the good work. | |
| 2 Apr 2002 | Timmy | That is so cool | |
| 16 Jul 2002 | Zachariah Campbell | I dig... but aren't gnolls hyena-like? Your interpretation is more wolf-like, which is cool. What I'm curious about is whether gnolls are a pure TSR creation, or whether they come from mythology somewhere. I know that "kobold" is actually simply German for "goblin". I guess Gary Gygax just decided he needed more small humanoids in the book. | |
| 21 Jan 2003 | Cedric Lutes | Very cool wolf-hyena like creature i love it nice work | |
| 7 Apr 2003 | Christopher R. Yost | Have to agree with you, the right leg doesn't look right, but the right hand looks fine. Great work on the detail and the armor, it very awsome. | |
| 20 Aug 2004 | William Robert Duke | Going in my gnoll tour, now. Unless you want it not to. Bravo on this piece. Teach me how to do this. NOW! Please? I'll grovel... | |
| 10 Dec 2005 | The Werescrib | To clear up something, Kobold is a german house-sprite, supposedly possesing wood figurines made out of the trees they once inhabited. In TSR's D&D they are reptillians, although they were described as "Dog-like, SCALED, with nakedm hairless tails like a rat." Umm, actualy that may not be a perfect transcript, but hey, its close. Also, Gnolls have always been Hyena like, in fact, they got less Hyena like in 3.0 and 3.5, if you pay attention to the pictures, and Gnolls aren't artificial feeling... they wuvable. | |
| 25 Nov 2006 | No one you know. | His head came out a bit big...
Great picture though... | |
| 1 Apr 2008 | Doran Whiteguard | The armor is incredible
