SciFi and Fantasy Art: Angel Of Light

Originally this picture was meant to be the Angel of Darkness, but I had a change of heart. While watching the show 'Touched by An Angel', and seeing how Roma Downey(Monica) glowed when she chose to present her true angelic form inspired me to create a being by which God himself gives light to. Done in watercolor and colored pencil, then perfected in Photoshop, the original was 19' by 24'.

I can definately see that it was once an angel of darkness, She has that look. Very good!

Wow. That hair . . .

now those are true headlights. irk. just for a more natural look, perhaps taking away some of their highlights would draw less attention to them. tell me if you wanted them to have the attention though, i'd like to ask you why you wanted that.

It started out with the light being in just the face and on the breasts, but as I added the light from the sky, I thought that it would brighten what was already brightened. That is why they are as bright as they are now.

I like the pic, she has a very lovely firey glow to her that more angels should have.

She's beautiful. I love the lighting and the shading. Don't let any narrow minded people influence your art. It's your art to create the way you choose to create it. People who don't like it should not look at it, just skip it and go to the next artist.IMHO.

Nice. She's kinda red, but the form is perfect.

That water must be cold. Gives new meaning to the phrase headlights. I'm sorry, but you can see the BLACK nipples in the thumbnail. That's gotta tell ya something.
