SciFi and Fantasy Art: Beauty and the Butterfly

This picture means alot to me. It was my first full color picture created. It took me almost a year to accomplish it. The picture came from an unknown artist from the Science Fiction Book Club that I redrew. The original size of the picture is 3' by 3', and the original redrawn picture is 20' by 20'. The media is a mix of colored pencils, water-color, and water-colored pencils. It was then crafted into the masterpiece you see here by a superb program called Photoshop.
