| 6 Jun 2001 | G. H. 'Trace' Webster III | This is quite possibly the most original "4 Horsemen" pic I have ever seen. Kudos! | |
| 13 Jun 2002 | Natalia | WOW. i wonder why so few people have commented, this picture is nothing short of amazing. it's so raw, truthful, and it speaks volumes about humans at their core. | |
| 1 Jul 2002 | Annalng | I can't really make anything out except the figure in the middle... if it was bigger... but, ya know, size requirements. good idea! wow, so original! | |
| 10 Apr 2003 | Helyna | This - and many other pieces in this gallery - is reminicent of Francis Bacon (the painter, not the philosopher), especially in the treatment of colour and texture, and with the fixation on a theme (here, crucified women). | |
| 17 Nov 2004 | Birds | Was this inspired by another painting? The title sounds familiar. This is the most developed of all of your work. This one has a depth that the others are missing. How long did it take? | |
| 24 Nov 2004 | Kimberly Annzebary Herold | Thank you for all the comments - especially the one about Francis Bacon. I've become more familiar with his work since I first read the comment, and he is quite inspirational. At some point, I might be able to acquire a better image of this painting. This is my first sold piece, and I'm friends with its owner.
birds, the piece may have taken anywhere from a few hours to a few days to complete - I don't remember - but the bulk of it was done within a few hours. It was my first and one of my best oil paintings. It is based loosely on a conceptual painting with the same title by Judson Huss. | |
