| 11 Oct 2001 | Anonymous | pwitty!!!!!!!!!!I like the lighting..I like the right half with the lil swirlies. Laura Beth Katt replies: "They are supposed to be a birthmark of vines on the left side of her body, right side of the pic. but little swirlies will do. *smiles* Thank you!" | |
| 9 Dec 2001 | Ciara | The lighting's great and I loove the hair.. nothing to critisize here.. keep up the great work! Laura Beth Katt replies: "Thank you so much. I myself had plenty to critisize, but I think because this picture has moredetail work thn most I guess it isn't as noticable. *grins*" | |
| 18 Apr 2002 | Courtney Weger Cantrell | The big, black hands in the background freak me out. The vine tattoo on her left side intrigues me. But the bunny...the bunny is just plain disturbing. ;o) Excellent pic! There are a lot of neat elements in this. Laura Beth Katt replies: "The bunny was deffinately meant to be a disturbance and the hands, indeed, meant to symolize a sort of creeping insanity. Thank you for the comments. They were all taken to heart." | |
| 2 May 2002 | Anonymous | This is an odd picture, but enticing. Her hair flows as does her dress which adds to her overall figure. But her face is what puzzled me. She looks ashamed, almost innocent( maybe thats what you were looking for though). Her face just strikes me. But the torn rabbit...that ,i think contrasts the picture too much...and then the leg of the rabbit on the floor i think should not be there. But the lightning is like adding hope to the poor girl, job well done. Laura Beth Katt replies: "Innocent, yes, that was the point. The rabbit is supposed to be as it is, as I am an artist and have my lisence. *flashes the badge* But thank you for what kind words you spoke." | |
| 13 Nov 2002 | Me3gogi | Oh wow!! I absolutely love that picture. I can never quite get the face even if i try and draw it, but u got it really well. The leafy/viny tatto?/design was really cool and it seems to run into her skirt - giving a really cool effect. It also emphisises the lovely curly-ish wavy hair - which i absolutely love!! The strip of whit in the dark background is a lovely technique that instead of drawing attention away from the main image - emphisises it. The bunny looks different though - as if u combined two different drawing styles, but it looks twisted. Like u stole it out the baby crib. And, as im running out of quota, the hands are a touch of genius!! Laura Beth Katt replies: "The rabbit is actually there to symbolize the insanity running through her mind, hence the different technique to drawing it. But thank you, truly. You hit the mark on everything I was hoping for." | |
| 18 Oct 2003 | O0†°¤°©®ÄZŸR☺©K€R°¤°†0o little_chick_ | Um..This picture creeped me out..Lol...I dunno y but i like bunnies and that ones torn...I don't like that at all. Lol Laura Beth Katt replies: "Well it is old and has been through a lot. And the picture was meant to not sit well when you look at it. *grins* So it looks like I accomplished my goal." | |
| 7 Nov 2003 | Tiffany D. Serra | This is my favorite in your gallery! I love the dream-like nightmare quality to the whole composition. It seems like something out of a child's mind, considering the doll she is holding in her hand. I like the extremes or dark and light you have going on, especially in the shadow hands in the background and the vines covering half of her body. Nicely done all around! Laura Beth Katt replies: "Oh, thank you so much for all the compliments! It is so kind! I was hoping someone would note the creepy hands in the back ground that is supposed to symbolize the insanity reaching out for her as the one shaft of light, her sanity, starts to fade. Ah, but thank you. Nightmare was definately the effect I was going for." | |
