SciFi and Fantasy Art: Elf Dragon

Well I kinda got lost now. This one actually adds some spirit to me! This was the first serious attempt on drawing something more than 'Chickens' n' 'Worms'. I got into Fantasy art with this picture, and i still like it a little. Hope you do so to! Don't Mind the name, It is my Fantasy right?

Comment from the artist: This is actucally a nostalgic peace of work you have in front of you. As I explained in my original description, this was the beginning for me takin fantasy-art serious. I've been in love with the dragon and everything that has got to to with it since. I promise to give you a fresh attempt on the "Elf dragon" since I still remember what I was after when I drew this one!

this is a great image, not only due to the roughness of it but the pose and the proportions are very interestting, the hind legs are excellent. elf dragon huh.Well, this was the first pic of em all in my gallery n' i did'nt have a clue what to name it.. So i thought "Elf dragon" and thats it.. Well thanks, i thought the legs got kinda twisted, but on the other hand he might be..!

like Chris said and this one has great prospects. I like his antenna's did someone touch them so they drooped(abit like a slug except for they retract). Maybe some defining lines done in pen or something would bring it out more.Actually, this is the only pic in my gallery I used reference for, The others is all taken from my own head and a little memory... So I kinda cheated a little with the hind legs and those stuff that looks good.... But thanks!

What media did you use to color this picture? It might sound silly, but it looks almost as if you had colored this pic on top of sandpaper with crayons.
