| 19 Feb 2002 | Liv Lingborn | Intriguing composition I must say.... And, yes, it does make you wonder... ach, wish I could see the colors better, but I´m infront of a crappy laptop... | |
| 15 Mar 2002 | Raethlin | *wonders quietly* beautiful. although it may not have been what you meant to make a person think of, I think that it is a beautiful illustration of the empathy of lovers. what hurts one will hurt the other equally. but no matter what it means, it's a very beautiful peice, and I absolutely must thank whatever your inspiration was. | |
| 8 Jul 2002 | Randy | I am not Christian yet i can see the the combination between the Christian imagery ,of the crucified lovers, and the Pagan ones of the sun and moons...I do not understand the sun in eclipse..and maybe I should just enjoy the beauty of the art and not try to interpret it...Maybe the artist is looking for something and is torn between two worlds that seem so far apart and yet are so entwined....please help me in understanding this | |
| 23 Jan 2003 | Resamy | I love this picture.Your right it does make you think. But thers only one thing, the heart is located on the left chest or from the view of the picture, the right, not in the middle. But it does seem too look better this way.Ahh all I know is this is a great picture | |

| 11 Sep 2003 | Samantha Fullen | OOOH! OOOH! I KNOW! they were in love but had to kill each other b/c of their fate, and the girl is light and the guy is darkness. I know b/c... ummm. not telling! | |
| 25 Feb 2004 | Anonymous | GOD DAMN! I love this pic. If it's ok with Darkstar I want to get it as a tattoo. Beautiful art from a beautiful . I must make haste for I have minds to twist and dreams to shatter. | |
| 7 Feb 2007 | Beauty | when i look at it and see the forbidding lovers crucified for there love the moon blocking out the sun shows that this was not approved in any belief. We must remember we paint our faces to hide our faces. Beautiful work of art it spoke to me in so many ways thank you. | |
| 6 Mar 2007 | Wiccan | I love the use black and white colours in it. Sort of like ying and yang, the idea that men and women are black and white, only here i would say that the woman is the dark side of the smybol.
Above the black 'moon' is a white glow and below the white 'moon'is a black glow.
And the mans hair is a yellow blonde while the womens dark hair is in contrast to his.
And the mans cross is a lighter shade while the womans is dark.
I think (to me anyway) that the nail through the heart is love for each other, and the cross instand of having any biblical refere is about sacrfice. | |
