SciFi and Fantasy Art: Watchful

Well, this is my second attepmt at using a tablet... An Im really proud of how it turned out!

I started playing arround, and then I kinda got sucked into the awsomeness of tablets...Bye-bye mouse! n e who, I used a picture of my sister as a reference for the facial expression, and used a digitaly altered photograph [that I took, by the way] of tree tops for the background. Before this, I had only used the dodge and burn tools, but I tried to do this more like a real painting, using different shades and colours. However, I stuck to my usual topic, lol! I know there are a few major flaws [ear, colar, etc]... I flattened it before I could catch them :(

Again, really pleased at how this turned out! i think my high school art classes payed off! I took media arts and visual, alot considering I've never had any artistic instruction previously! So happy schools out so I can finaly do some stuff of my own liking!
