SciFi and Fantasy Art: Pastel Gryphon

This image actually started out as a ballpoint pen drawing on lined paper. I scanned it in, cleaned it up, and used it as underlying 'tracing paper' for virtual pastel in ArtRage, a 'real media' emulation program. Completed February 01, 2006.
