SciFi and Fantasy Art: Nonconformity

What could be more nonconformist than blowing up a road-sign advertisement with a rocket launcher? Well, a lot of things probably, but not many that can be on EW. This one was done in an art trade with Julianne Ramanujam, (http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/zone/r/a/rawmang o/rawmango.html - a gallery which I would recommend). The character is Spoo, described by her as 'a rocket launcher toting, somewhat cynical, half-wit schizoid, mango flavor loving, barefoot-preferring, leopard gecko.' Originally this one was going to be done by hand and colored in Photoshop, but I lost access to Photoshop and a 1442x1188 pixel picture is hard to do well in Appleworks, so I reverted to outdated 3d graphics that I don't think are even available abandonware anymore (StrataVision 3d 4.0, what they did the graphics for Myst with). It came out alright though. The tire is from a crashed car behind the wall Spoo is standing in front of, which I couldn't add in due to technical restraints. The full version is 1024x768.
