This is Teska (named originally 'Taskha', or 'The second Kha'), a philosopher and founder of the Teskar religion. This picture was, obviously, not meant to be Teska (It was originally going to be the character on the title page of a web site I decided not to make), but it fit. Later on in his life, Teska was blinded from an unknown cause; beginning the tradition that Teskar priests would be either blind or nearly so. (This was written sometime in October, 2000)
