| 5 Jul 2005 | Anonymous | This picture is beautiful, but perhaps even more beautiful is the sentiment you express with it. When it comes to love, I don't understand why gender should matter. This piece really speaks to me. Thank you. | |
| 20 Jul 2005 | Anonymous | I don't no much about art but this was really beautiful | |
| 10 Jan 2006 | Kathryn | This is a beautiful picture. I love the subtle emotion in it! It's very moving. You captured the tenderness and magic in the moment. Looking at it, I can FEEL their love for one another. And as a christian straight girl, I'd like to say I want love to be like this for me someday, a true, accepting love of the soul. Love that deep IS God's will, how could it not be? | |
| 27 Mar 2006 | Kate | Nothing against lesbians but I agree FULLY with Colleen! It is a great picture, though. | |

| 4 Aug 2006 | Maranda V. Arnott | Actually I'll think the two preachers here will find that homosexuality is a perfectly natural occurance in both human, and the animal kingdom. Although common logic would claim that male and female were meant to pair together for reproduction; The apperance of homosexuality in the animal kingdom is NOT to do with reproduction. In some cases it's used as a sign of dominance. For humans, i know there was a reason whyit occurs, but to the point. it's been around for an extremely long time. I'm sure many people will have heard of the greeks apreciating all sexual orientations. infact the spartins were all Bisexual, they were also the most feircest fighters of their time. And i mean FEIRCE. The roman army would encorage homosexuality in their ranks, Have a partner? Bring him along too! The romans believed gay partners fighting together made their armies stronger. And they were apsolutly correct. Because it did exactly that. Don't believe me? Look it up.
*cough* I apologize to the artist,I realise this is not a forumn- it just really ticks me off when people start arguing that it's unatural and wrong ^.^. This picture is beautiful. You can really feel the love ^.^ Would be so nice to see it in colour, maybe in the dark under a star lit sky on a stone bench surrounded by a garden? how coudl you get more romantic than that! | |
| 26 Aug 2006 | Veronika 'Lawenta' Prokesova | It may sound strange and maybe it wasn´t the artist´s intention, but in this picture I like the most the fact that they aren´t both beautiful - or at least for me the right one does seem more ordinary - and still their mutual love is doubtless. It makes them... more real I think. Oh, and there aren´t enough of lesbian pairs at Elfwood. Maybe it´s because the most of the artists depicting homosexuality here are girls and women interested in sexy men Very nice work. | |
