hello, nice to meet you...well..where to begin..aha”..I like your work..not much shared in here, i suposse that u have more..and i really liked to see more B/W and colored pendil work of u..it“s nice...u know what r u doing..it can be noticed simply by looking at some lines and uses of technique...but it“s also important the creativity..that“s like the basic mixture for and artist, also with lots and lots of feelings in the work..so u have it girl and tkae advantage..but always to be better. I only have one suggestion...since u use colors and full colors maybe u could make some digital manipulation only to recover to fix some details of the scans and make the colors or shadows even more clean...but is just a suggestion...maybe I“m more detailed..hehehe..¬¬..anyway..keep working, I liked and please let us known at Bifrost when u have updates...I think all of us would be pleased to see your stuff.
Rock and draw.
Leo.

Thank you, and you're correct an assuming that there's not much of my work in here.. very, very little of it to be honest. Since most of my work doesn't qualify as "fantasy", it doesn't really fit into this forum. Much of my work is too big to fit a scanner bed (One colour pencil drawing is 2' x 3'!), and as most was put under glass and framed before I invested in a scanner.. there it stays, unphotographed, as I usually break glass when I try to take a piece out of the frame.

I think it's relatively easy to spot an artist who is confident in his or her work, and I am.. but I'm also always trying to learn new ways of working with my chosen mediums. I think it's confidence in their medium that allows a person to stretch from the art of merely making a picture to the art of making a statement through their pictures, and I consider myself very fortunate in being given the gift to speak through my art.

I do understand your remark regarding digital manipulation, but I really, really hate doing art on the computer. I've tried it, have several works in progress (email a request if you'd like to see), but don't find digital work nearly as satisfactory as working with 'hard' media. As a result, as you've probably noticed, almost all of my work is posted 'raw', that is: without digital improvements.

Geez...

You are a walking, breathing mods choice.

Don“t you ever change!

Cheers!

But I have to change! Change is inevitable, and is not always a bad thing.
If you look at the pieces in my gallery (small as my gallery is), you can see definite signs of change in my work; sometimes for the worse, but more often for the better. Change in my art means that I'm growing as an artist, and growth as an artist is always good.

Please do change, from brilliant to excellent. (I see you are there allready!)

I aspire to be both brilliant and excellent and someday (hopefully soon!) I hope to actually achieve my goal.
Thanks for dropping by to look at my work, and thanks for your insightful comment. 12

Cute fairies! And I like your coloring...it's so smooth =Ž Anyway, hope you'll keep it up!

*Febridė*

That's one of the things I like so much about colour pencil, it's an extremely versatile medium and can give so many different looks depending on the technique one uses, iincluding this incredibly 'smooth' look that looks more like a liquid medium than pencil.
Thanks for stopping by and visiting my gallery!

Hi Kelly! You have a wonderful gallery here, and I enjoy your Art a great deal. The black ink works remind me of woodcuts, and the color works are strong and pleasing. I hope your journey into the realm of Art is an enjoyable one, and that many more such wonders will be seen.

Thank you for visiting.
I've heard the woodblock print comment regards my ink work before, others have remarked that they look like tatoos.
By the way, nice gallery you have too, I recommend visitors drop by and check out your work.

I absoluely loved all of your art. The colored work and the b/w work. All of it was just plain superb. Masterfully done. Your sense of color and movement are excellent. I loved every one. ^_^

Thank you.

However, I feel that some of the drawings don't reflect my best work anymore, and I'll be removing them from my gallery soon. Look to see new works replace "Karma Fairy", "Sweet Interlude", and "Mermaid" in the next few weeks.

Hopefully it will continue to improve.
By the way, you've got a pretty cool gallery too.

I've seen smalleer galleries

um.. ok, I have to admit to being stuck for a response on this one, except to say that this is one of the weirdest comments I've had in may gallery to date, so congrats on that. 2

Now, did you mean "small ear galleries", or "smaller galleries"?
If you meant "small ear galleries", I've never seen one; but it sounds like an interesting concept for a project.
If you meant "smaller galleries", me too.

your art is very interesting and unick... very creative... especially the one with the tome and skull and sword... I like it very much... I have no real critick for you... so just keep doing what you do cause you know your trade... oh, and if you could find time to stop by my gallery and offer me some helfpull tips on how to improve my art, I would apreciate it very much.

I've looked at your page, and your work is wonderful, I'm not sure there's any advise I could give you except to keep doing what you're doing.
I do recommend that visitors to my Elfwood page saunter on over to your house for a visual treat.
