SciFi and Fantasy Art: Character Study- Kieran/Corran

I did this picture today (Wednesday) after my studio session. The shading turned out well, in my opinion. I'm currently leaning between the names Kieran and Corran for the character. I like Corran a bit better, honestly, because I know exactly how to pronounce it. Either way, this is a character study for when I start my semester project for Art Career Skills Class.

5 Nov 2002	Jeremy Dylan Mohler	Loading... Hey James! Looking good! Your figurework is getting much better, I can tell you've been practicing. Shading looks alright as well, though, everything seems almost to be in the same tone. What I might suggest thinking about(and this is something I'm working on myself in my own work)is to have extremely dark dark's(maybe black)and extremely white white's(say...white). Then maybe work in some tones in between. Either way, good work!
